This nomination assesses restaurants which are specialized in meat. The assessment is basing on the well thought-out concept of the restaurant, original meat menu, size of portion and quality of the main product of the restaurant.
This nomination assesses restaurants which are specialized in cooking fresh fish dishes. Fish can be local or imported to Ukraine. The key assessment criterion is freshness and quality of the main product of the restaurant. Well-cooked fish and seafood.
Assessment of restaurants in this nomination is based on the Ukrainian national dishes which are cooked the right way. This nomination does not assess grandiosity of interior and brightness of restaurant staff outfits. The main criterion is sticking to traditions of cooking and serving typical Ukrainian meals.
This nomination assesses restaurants which are specialized in cuisine of one country. For instance, it can be French, Italian, Polish, Hungarian, Georgian or any other world cuisine. Such restaurants should serve a typical dish of the country. Restaurants of Ukrainian cuisine do not participate in this nomination.
This nomination assesses the confectioneries with a wide variety of tasty sweets and pastries. The main criterions are taste attributes and properties of desserts, interesting range of confectionery products as well as an option for take-away desserts in an original package.
This nomination assesses the professional level of the chef sommelier, a wide range of collection wines, a wine list of the medium price segment as well as professional combination of cuisine and collection of drinks in the restaurant.
This nomination assesses restaurants with their own brewery and a wide range of high quality beer. The main criterion is symbiosis of beer and beer cuisine. For instance, such restaurant has a wide variety of snacks, meat dishes and charcoal grill, abundance of sausages. High quality of restaurant’s cuisine and main drink (beer) are in priority.
This nomination assesses all restaurants which were opened from June 1, 2016 until June 1, 2017. Restaurants of different specialization may participate in this nomination. Assessment criteria include the name and address of the restaurant, waiters, website of the restaurant, full-scale menu, well-qualified staff and accordance to announced specialization.
This nomination assesses bars with contact bar counter which have not less than 70% of drinks in the overall structure of the menu. The primary assessment criteria are: a wide range of mixed, strong alcohol, low alcohol and soft drinks, an original cocktail list, harmonious combination of the bar concept and bar list, interior, service and price offers.
This nomination assesses casual food cafes located within the city. Assessment criteria: quick cooking, friendly service by waiters, a refrigerated display case or open kitchen, with to go/take away format used widely.
12. BEST HOTEL RESTAURANTNEW
This category assesses restaurants located in the hotels having at least twenty-five rooms, with the chef’s menu, standardised production technology, A la carte service and buffet service/A la carte options during the year.
